I think this is a good list except for the fact that you don't have a middle infielder on the bench. Maybe drop Lofton and add Rafael Furcal. He may not have been straightforward with us this past offseason, but the man can play shortstop very well. He can also play second base if we need him to. Me and my dad was in a car, he was driving. We were driving on a bridge, up a hill. I could see the ocean under us. Lump on fore arm from elbowing heavy punching bag. serious?

Why does my dog get extreme anxiety when I am not near her?

I had that problem too. I was told by my vet it is because I baby my dog too much. I have since been a bit more firm with him and it seems to be working (after several months), he doesn't whine nearly as much when I am away (according to my family members). They too have been more stern with him (no yelling, no hurting), they tell him firmly to "go lay down" if he's upset. I think your hubby will have to walk your Poodle and be firm with her, a slight jerk on the leash if she decides she doesn't want to go along without you etc. Good luck!

Some colleges are doing away with the SAT requirement. I don't know whether this would be considered good or bad. I have heard from many people (probably trying to cheer me up) that more creative students have a harder time taking tests. Well, yes, I am more of the creative student, so that would make sense to me. What do you think? Here in Florida, I believe that the FCAT is the most ridiculous test ever created. It's not hard at all and I ped with 4's every year that I have taken it. My problem with this test is that I believe it took away from my learning experience. For example, some teachers would only focus on the FCAT, instead of more interesting things that had to do with that subject. I'm just talking high school here, by the way. I could care less about anything below, because everyone knows it doesn't matter lol. I was never a bad student, but I always, always had problems with tests. The only subjects that I don't seem to have a problem with is anything math related. I want to major in English as a Creative Writer. This makes no sense! Lol. I recently took my PSATs again, for 11th grade. I did horribly. 53% tile. I thought I did extremely well, and I do study my stuff. It just doesn't add up to me. I've thought about taking those SAT cles, but it all seems like a waste of money. I'm already paying enough as it is taking the dumb tests. I just took my SATs this past Saturday, and I am nervous as hell. I was so confident after taking that test, but that's how I felt about the PSATs and look what happened. Overall, I know that I am very smart and that these tests do not say how intelligent I am. I mean, I can proudly tell you that I use proper grammar even when texting lol, I am a straight A student, and I've seen questions on here with horrifying grammar that I would never sucb to XD. i was on a beach with friends in wales, UK once. We were going cliff climbing at night. And we noticed that we were leaving blue glowing footprints. as we got further onto the beach there was more blue glowing. like millions of little blue dots everywhere. We were gobsmacked, we found this pool of water that was glowing like it had mood lights in it. we then chucked a rock in and it shimmered with colour between blue and purple and green, like a computer visualization. Pneumonia, flu, allergies, or cold?

Alright guys, I got the H1N1 vaccine before so I doubt I have that. I also had pneumonia like 5 months ago or something like that, but I took antibiotics for 10 days as the doctor instructed me to. I think I have minor allergies, but it's really hard to say for me. Anyways, the only reason I am posting this is because I'm worried im getting pneumonia again since I noticed that at the beginning of the day I had the faintest chest congestion, and now it's building up and it sometimes hurts when I breathe or bend the wrong way. Sometimes it happens pretty much randomly. I also have a runny nose, I used to have a faint sore throat, my ears are plugged and I'm coughing. It feels like some of my coughs are post nasal drip while others are coming from my lungs like in pneumonia. I haven't really felt nauseous but I felt pretty bad the day I came back from summer camp as I went to bed early. My other friends at camp were getting a little sick but they just seemed like colds. My chest even feels more congested than when I started typing this question. What do you guys think I have? I can't go to the doctor today because it's Sunday. The last thing I have to say is this weird symptom that no one else has as far as I know.... I have a weird smell in my nose sometimes, and I've only had that smell before when I had pneumonia. Symbolism & superficiality?

Lately, I have been questioning whether superficiality in art makes a piece of art less worthwhile or 'bad'. For example, the narrator in this geisha dance ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6O7KFCCEdU ) explains the significance of the geisha's movements and the change of weather being symbolic of a story. If it were it not for the narrator, I wouldn't understand a thing symbolically, though I would still really enjoy it aesthetically since I love this kind of theatre. Obviously a person would have to be sufficiently educated about the historical context or even religious implications, but I just seem to have no clue about the idea of symbolism. I love William Bougereau, Klimt and the Pre-Raphaelites aesthetically, and am in fact very interested in the stories. The problem comes when I am producing my own art. If I were to paint something that seems to have a story, I feel like I'm contriving the concept e.g the 'story' and symbolisms are only there for pretentious reasons. If I were to enter art circles, I feel like I'd be heavily critiqued if my art was superficial. But, I understand that paintings, theatre productions pieces of music or poetry etc etc ARE more interesting to people when there is a story behind it. Even I am interested by symbolism. However, is superficial art really considered worse or bad, and does symbolism have its own kind of language?

Not bad at all. I love some of the imagery and the ideas you present (I must admit the pretty little vixen is a device I use often in my poetry as well.) My critiques would be the lack of punctuation, it often helps as kind of a road map to your poem to tell the reader when to breathe and when to go straight through. That would work the rhythm, too, which could really be heightened with a few tweaks. Lastly, your themes are a bit repetitive; you stay in one (admittedly poignant) place throughout the piece. You should try building upon your idea a bit. But nice work =)

I've been coughing for weeks, and it has gotten only slightly worse over time. My nose became congested only about a week ago. If I were sluggish, I probably wouldn't know it, because that's just how I am most of the time. How to convince my family to take me to reading festival?

Reading and Leeds (and download) are possibly the most notoriously dangerous and unreliable out of all the festivals in the UK. I don't think i would want to go at your age! Even I find it a bit scary! They are excellent Festivals but I went to various smaller and safer festivals before I went to Leeds. You have to remember that Reading and Leeds attract a certain crowd and it can get really rough and rowdy in the crowds and the campsite is far from safe and quiet! You might have more luck trying to convince them to take you to a more commericial festival like V, or maybe even one with a more family-friendly atmosphere like Glastonbury. I know you're not a kid but I know you'd have a better time at a 'safer' festival where your parents might let you wander off on your own or with your mates for a bit rather than at Reading where you might be a bit embared tagging around with your parents. :)

10 Month Old in Pain

My 10 month old's reflux meds were recently changed and I do not believe they are working at all! In addition, she has a severe cold...sneezing, congested~all of which is clear/white, some diarrhea, fever of 100, and she has broken out in a few places~some look rash like and others look like red pimples without a head. She has tubes and there is no drainage. Earlier tonight, she began screaming when I was washing her hair and again when I went to brush her hair~both of which are gentle processes. Could a severe headache cause this kind of pain? It was pretty intense. She has been screaming, blood curtling screams throughout the night and is struggling to get any sleep even with tylenol. We do have an appt. tomorrow with her dr. who is aware of most of these things but can anyone help me understand what may be happening and help her through the night? Thanks!

I wanted to connect a Bluetooth keyboard(It's from Logitech and Is compatible with the PS3) and headset(that is for the PS3 but works with cell phones). I click on the SmartWi green waves icon on the lower right corner on the screen(on the bar)and a small menu with WI-FI and Bluetooth pops out. I turn Bluetooth to on and then when I click on Bluetooth Devices to scan for my Bluetooth tech, nothing pops out and nothing happens. I repeat clicking it multiple times and yet nothing occurs. Puzzled, I click on Select Network right above Bluetooth Devices to see if the menu is glitched and the Select Network windows opens normally. If the Select Network opens correctly, then why isin't Bluetooth Devices doing anything when I click on it? I went to Start>Devices and Printers and selected Add Device. I put the headset in find mode and the computer doesn't pick anything up. I tried the keyboard and put it in scan mode too but it still doesn't pick anything up! What gives? How to I get the link to work? Control Panel doesn't have any Bluetooth management because the program is from SmartWi and not Microsoft. So unless I get SmartWi to work, I won't be able to do anything! I just got this computer this Christmas, it's bran new! Is it just that the keyboard and headset only work for the PS3 and are incompatible with computers? I tried a Motorola headset and the computer still doesn't pick it up! The Bluetooth is set to on but the Bluetooth Devices link still doesn't work! I've searched many things in the internet but no one has my problem. Everybody can go to Bluetooth Devices and I can't!

I've used Frontline Plus with very good results. It is safe for your cats and does work. Shampoo kills fleas, but it really isn't the best from my own experience. I have also used a spray on treatment for my cats with decent results. The best I've really found is using frontline.

We are an active family who likes to hike. My husband is currently seeing a doctor who is telling him that he has Chronic Bronchitis (he's never smoked a day in his life). Doing a controversial topic will show that you have guts. Realize Georgetown and George Washington University want people with initiative. These are law schools and medical schools, they want people to stand for what they believe, they want you to fight for what you believe. That school is built on arguments. Think of it this way if your are not willing to debate a controversial topic then why do you plan to go to that school. That is what that school is meant for. Plus the more interested you are in the topic the more you will have to say about it, as well you will be able to find more facts to back you up because you know what you are looking for, as well then if they bring up your paper in your interview with an alumni then you will not be as worried because you will be able to support your paper on the spot and remember it.

For a more muscular (and in turn, more shapely) try lunges- forward, backwards, to the side (and when you're lunging keep your knee right over your ankle- not past). Do these exercises along with cardio like jumping rope, running and maybe even some yoga and you'll look hourgly and toned!

Well, I told him fine do what you like go be happy but don't confuse me anymore. Because we seem to make up and then fight again. I told him don't tell me you love me if you don't. Don't hug and kiss me, just treat me like a coworker or friend or even a stranger. But if you do love me then we need to work on us. Another issue of ours is our lack of . I ask for it everyday and he always rejects me. So I told him if he was going to chose this "single" life than he better forget about having with me again. He told me yeah right in a few days we will have and you will be just fine. Well we haven't had in almost a month. He hasn't told me he loves me since the fight. Normally its "i love you" when we say goodbye on the phone, when we leave the house, etc. I say it to him and he doesn't say anything back. He doesn't say goodnight. I get up and cook him breakfast and fix his lunch everyday and I cook dinner for when he gets home and wash and fold his laundry and everything else normal....so he still expects me to take care of him like a wife (or mother if you think about it) and yet there is no reciprocation no thank you. He works and brings home the money.....but I think I would rather be poor and working 3 jobs myself as long as I was in a happy fullfillinf marriage with someone who shows they care and they love me. He is the one who still stayed with me even though he cheated numerous times (its not that he left and came back it was all behind my blindly trusting back)....so it sort of seems like he does want me. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't want a divorce...no one does....but it seems like the only way I can be happy is to leave him. This morning he yelled at me because our daughters watered the flowers out front the day before and put too much water and so they were a little flooded. He saw this in the morning and flipped out. Why do we have to fight about something stupid like that? We have money, paid off cars, a nice home, two lovely children....why isn't this enough to make him happy in life and feel happy with us.
