Is this normal in a relationship of 1yr?

I have been with my boyfriend for 1yr. We are really into each other. we broke up for one month and we were both devastated so we got back together. everything is going well, and he tells me how much he likes me. i went away for 4 weeks and we texed everyday and spoke on the fone. However neither of us had said thoses 3 magic words. Does this mean there is something wrong. please help i feel insecure.
