Are some japanese racist to muslims?

my friend (who is a mulsim) told me she visited japan and that most of the people there gave her dirty looks and when going to a store she would be the last to to be served even if she was there first. she can speak fluent japanese by the way. she told me she didnt feel welcomed at all. i wanted to visit japan but now im a little weary... sorry if i sound bad but just wanted to know.
