Why is my baby dad Avoiding me?

My baby dad has been wanting to get back with me. Things were going good at first for a whole month. We werent spending too much time together but here and there. A week ago we started to see each other more i told him i wanted to get back with him because hes been asking and asking. He's a player but im so in love with him and i dont think hes the right guy so thought if i got back with him I'd be able to find a way to get rid of him for good unless he changed and actually wanted to be with me. Anyway, Ive given it to him, hes came by three days in a row, we have been doing good but then he started to avoid me for no reason. If he wants to get serious with me and he loves me then how come hes avoiding me or hasnt bothered to get back together? He has been with other girls but hes never done this before so Im not looking to hear that he got other girls thats why.
