3rd Sunday of Advent has the theme of Joy. What does this mean for believers in our present lives?

i had nothing but joy in music in all my programs all weekend even though i wrecked my car! if i am spiritually uplifted and we can give people gooseflesh and transport them to the gates of heaven with music. we are spreading joy.
